Visitor Receptionist
JOB SUMMARY
Visitor Receptionist provides information to visitors at the reception desk, entry control, and processing badges and passes for each visitor. Visitor Receptionist is responsible for issuing and maintaining identification cards/badges, credentials, and passes for all military, civilian, and contractor employees, as well as domestic and foreign visitors. Maintain visual and audio control of vault entry control points at all times during working hours to prevent entry by unauthorized personnel. Ensure un-cleared persons are escorted by cleared facility personnel. Maintain a current visitor sign in sheet and access control roster. Ensure access control rosters are maintained at access control points and are kept current. Provide escort to facility cleaning crew when servicing the NGCC and vault areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Screen visiting personnel to determine security eligibility; ensures visiting personnel are appropriately cleared prior to granting access to the facility.
- Notify military, civilian, and contractor personnel when visitors requesting access to the facility are not appropriately cleared and require an escort.
- Access to JPAS is required in the performance of duties.
- Experience in the use of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to verify personnel security clearances is desired.
- Verify personnel security clearances and processes visitor badges.
- Prepares and issue NGCC visitor access badges as required.
- Maintain a current access control roster.
- Provide daily escort of facility contract cleaning crew in the area of responsibility at Arlington Hall Station Bldg 2, Level 3, NGCC area.
- Personal Identify Information (PII). All employees must secure and protect any PII data managed as part of day to day business practices as it relates to federal information and information systems.
- Safety. All NGCC employees have and will continue to abide by U.S. Army, DOD, and ARNG established rules, regulations, and safety work practices; Identify and take immediate corrective action to resolve any existing or potential safety problems; Notify the Government Supervisor immediately if any unsafe condition is detected during the course of any instruction.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain, a SECRET clearance. A CAC is required for Base access and the LAN.
- Shall work with the contracting office for processing into the Contractor Verification System (CVS).
- Must possess at least a high school diploma.

Training, Development and Support Technologist

Years of Experience: 4 years of experience as a military recruiter (NGB preferred), 3 years’ experience in adult learning, teaching, presenting, or training.
Job Purpose
Design, develop, coordinate, implement, and instruct training programs via a classroom setting for the G1/G3 communities throughout the Army National Guard’s (ARNG) 54 States, Territories and District of Columbia. Training employs various designs and methodologies to include online learning management systems (LMS), and primarily as a member of a mobile training team. May support G1/G3 conferences and/or workshops in the form of briefing support. Provide instructor-led training support for the NGB Strength Maintenance Training Center and the NGB-Human Resources and Readiness Training Center. Support requests for production and analysis of data to include the development of queries, dashboards, charts, graphs, and other web-based tools used by leaders and staff at NGB and all states and territories. Work with all ARNG leadership to develop customized training modules for use both online and in traditional classrooms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, implementing, and continuously evaluating cutting-edge training for the 54 State and Territory RRBs and NGB-level users using various training designs to include online learning management systems, leadership conferences, workshops, traditional classroom training events, and any custom-designed training required.
- Provides training and training support for the ARNG-HRR-S ASB.
- Conducts early user testing and evaluation of new hardware, software, and web-based applications for use by the ARNG-HRR-S to include all recruiting, retention, and attrition management applications and various other accession-related applications used by the State and Territory RRBs and G-1 activities.
- Complete multiple and multi-faceted training design and development projects and provide nation-wide customer support to the entire ARNG R&R force.
- Creates production and analysis reports to include queries, dashboards, charts, graphs, and other web-based tools used by leaders and staff at NGB and the 54 State and Territory RRBs.
- Works with NGB and State/Territory leaders to develop training modules for use both online and in traditional classrooms.
- Conducts leader training events and workshops at Fort Knox as well as in the 54 States and territories comprising the National Guard
- Designs and develops all training materials to include lesson outlines, training guides, user manuals, practical exercises, handouts, and pamphlets.
- Designs, develops, launches, and continuously monitors and reviews all online curriculums to include live web-based training sessions, online presentations, Internet downloads, and pre-recorded online interactive training modules.
Qualifications
- An understanding of the Army National Guard.
- Graduate of military instructor school preferred.
- Experience working as a member of a mobile training team preferred.
- Experience in training design and development with an understanding of the ADDIE Process.
- 3 Years of experience using military recruiting automated and web-based computer applications for prospecting and processing candidates for enlistment. National Guard experience with automated recruiting systems and applications preferred.
- Experience in data analysis, recruiting trends, market evaluation, recruiting production desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 to 9 years of related experience or training, or combination of education and experience that demonstrates proficiency in training, instructing, military recruiting, and military recruiting systems, applications, and analysis.
- 4 years of experience as a military recruiter. National Guard recruiting preferred.
- 3 Years of experience in adult learning, teaching, presenting, or training. Certified military instructor preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Travel is necessary for this job Monday thru Sunday. Travel can be local, out of the area, and overnight travel to be expected.
- Depending on workload, travel can at times reach 60% (2-3 weeks per month), but generally stays at 30-50% (1-2 weeks per month)
Junior Environmental Analyst (Energy and Sustainability)

Job Purpose
Provide analytical and programmatic support to the Army National Guard energy and water program to the 54 states and territories. The main goals are to communicate policy guidance, analyze the progress of meeting federal sustainability readiness of Installations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews, recommends validation, and provides programmatic support. Energy and water efficiency, renewable energy, energy security, energy resiliency, and utilities/infrastructure projects.
- Provides coordination, identification, recommends validations and reports of Energy Conservation Investment
- Provides coordination, analyzes, and recommends validation for reporting energy water, renewable energy, and solid waste data into multiple databases.
- Maintains and updates and presents training material and PowerPoint slides, conducted during the ARNG Program Guidance Course (PGC) on an annual basis.
- Reviews and communicates updated policies and regulations from the Federal Government, Department of Defense, and Department of the Army.
- Provides data input and analysis for Command briefings, annual reports, and more.
- Coordinates the data collection for the 54 states and territories for the annual sustainability scorecard.
- Prepares data based on Sustainability scorecard, AEWRS, SWARWEB, SRM, ERCIP, and BOS services for use during state annual SRM/BOS service program reviews. The data format shall be specified by the ARNG program manager.
Qualifications
- •A minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with energy or utility tracking and performance.
- Experience with Army or DoD sustainability and energy regulations a plus.
- Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manipulate data from multiple databases, including data gathering and normalization.
- Strong working proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
